Time to race!

Time for speed! Build a car and a race track and invite your friends and family to the big LEGO® race!

Steps

STEP 1

Grab some rocks

Minifigures and a pile of LEGO bricks

Make sure you have the parts you need: especially wheels, tires and axles.

STEP 2

Build a car

Keep it simple. Make something small and light.

STEP 3

Make some gates

You can make them from LEGO® bricks, paper or cardboard. Use the gates to mark your race track and make sure there are enough turns.

STEP 4

Ready Set Go!

Each person takes a turn to give their car a push. Go through the gates and take it easy on those tight corners. The winner is the first person to tap their car through the last gate.

STEP 5

Make it harder

Minifigures, LEGO soapbox cars, fences and a pile of bricks

Try adding some obstacles, such as rough terrain made with sand or scattered LEGO® bricks. How about a narrow bridge or tunnel?
